Embodied Empowerment — Take Yourself & Your Business to the Top!
Embodied empowerment is often associated with self-development… but have you considered how the principles of embodiment can help entrepreneurs, coaches, and leaders make their businesses more successful?
Mastering ourselves leads to mastering our business. But here’s the inside scoop: mastery comes from embodiment — your body instinctively knows how and what to do, without you telling it.
But this in no way comes automatically. It takes practicing a process often until it becomes part of who you are and how you show up. Don’t you agree that if it’s worth having; it’s worth the work?
Here’s the good news: every step toward mastery empowers you to take greater and more impactful steps — in no time, you’ll be doing things you never thought you could!
Let me illustrate this by sharing Mandy’s story:
Embodied Empowerment Takes Mandy from Insecurity to Confidence
Mandy, a 43-year-old single mother, was at a crossroads personally and professionally. Despite years of experience in marketing, she felt trapped in a toxic work environment and yearned for a meaningful career transition into coaching. At home, the echoes of past emotional abuse lingered, affecting her new relationship and her ability to set healthy boundaries. Can you relate?
As we worked together, we identified Mandy’s specific challenges:
- Struggled with self-doubt and insecurity
- Easily triggered by her partner’s behavior
- Difficulty in setting and maintaining boundaries
- Lack of trust in her own wants and needs
- Facing a career transition in an unstable market
No quick fixes here! But then life isn’t about “fixing” ourselves. I don’t believe anyone is broken. We just need a new way of thinking. It’s all about clearly seeing where we are, identifying where we want to be, then bridging that gap.

Her journey exemplifies the powerful transformation possible when we align our inner selves with our outer ambitions.
“Dream Big, Start Small” here’s the one thing you can do today.
When you embody a mindful way of seeing what’s really happening, you can make minor adjustments that result in huge wins. Here’s a practice you can begin today:
Pick a situation that causes you unease or stress then…
Highlight the pattern: Use mindfulness (paying attention without judgment) to study your behavior and see how you contributed to the situation.
Make slight adjustments: When you have the lay of the land, start making slight adjustments to get a different outcome. For example, when you perceive that someone you work with is belittling or dismissing your advice you might notice that you shut down – you stop engaging, walk away, get angry and spiteful. But that’s not how you want to be. Instead, you adjust to a more positive state — you self-soothe by breathing differently and letting the anger go. It may seem like a small adjustment but it’s powerful.
Practice the new behavior: You continue to practice self-soothing in the moment until you can become more curious, less reactive, and can stay engaged longer.
Although this may seem overwhelming at the beginning, when broken down, anybody can learn and do this successfully.
