When you feel frustrated, hurt or apathetic about your relationship you may find yourself looking for the nearest exit. It can take a fearless heart to explore the path to understanding and healing as you find your way back to each other.
This is a journey worth taking. If you continue feeling insecure and disconnected from each other, neither of you will have the strength you need for your own personal growth. If your most important relationship is floundering, you will be depleted from the nourishment it should be providing you.
But maybe you feel trapped in resentful silence having already said everything that needs to be said (perhaps over and over again!) You may have even tried couple’s therapy before with little or no progress.
But could there have been important clues to underlying issues that you’ve missed? What if you could each tap into your inner wisdom? What if you could reconnect with heightened awareness, honesty and vulnerability?
Unlike more traditional forms of marriage counseling, you’ll find the relationship coaching I offer to be a much more proactive approach that quickly gets results.
It’s based on the PACT Model which integrates the physiological basis for how you act and react within the relationship. It acknowledges the impact early relationships can have in hardwiring the brain to feel insecure and threatened, which can be tremendously undermining in a relationship where you want to feel safe and loved.
I also find PACT to be a somatic approach to relationships. Rather than just talking through the same old issues, we’ll integrate the subtle feedback you’re getting from your face, body and voice, to get to the heart of the matter. You’ll not only learn to be more self-aware, you’ll be more in tune with your partner as well. This approach does wonders for facilitating even difficult conversations with patience and empathy.
By learning to connect the mind with the body and soul, your relationship will begin to flourish and provide both of you with the nourishment you need to bring out the best in yourself and the people around you.
Meaningful results require a commitment. If you hire me to be your coaching partner, you’ll be making a commitment of at least three months to yourself and to the coaching process.
